Make an appointment via the Shenzhen Police website or the “Shenzhen Police 深圳公安” WeChat Official mini programs, selecting the service “Exchange of Mainland Driving Licence for Hong Kong and Macau Residents 香港機動車駕駛證免試換證
（預約）”, and choose a suitable Vehicle Administration Office and time slot.
Step 2: Preparation of Documents
Prepare the original documents and photocopies of the following:

Valid Hong Kong Driving Licence

Medical examination report*

Four recent passport-style photographs with a white background (1-inch size, 33 mm × 48 mm)*

Step 3: Attendance at the Vehicle Administration Office
Attend the selected Vehicle Administration Office at the appointed time. Submit the required documents, complete identity verification, have your photograph taken, and pay the relevant fees. The Mainland China driving licence is usually issued within an hour.
