This curated aviation experience is designed exclusively for participants of the Women in Aviation programme, offering first-hand exposure to real-world airline and flight operations. Participants will take part in a guided tour of China Southern Airlines’ facilities, gain hands-on experience in a Level D full-flight simulator, and complete a Discovery Flight on a light aircraft under the supervision of qualified instructors. The programme provides a rare opportunity to experience aviation from multiple perspectives — commercial airline operations, advanced simulation training, and real aircraft handling — helping participants better understand aviation career pathways and build confidence in a traditionally underrepresented field. This experience is by invitation only, forms part of a structured programme, and is not offered as a standalone public activity.

By booking or attending the Women in Aviation Discovery Experience, you agree to the following terms. Programme Nature This is a one-off, invitation-only experience for participants of the Women in Aviation programme. It is not open to the public, not a flight training course, and not a standalone commercial activity. The experience may include: Guided tour of China Southern Airlines’ facilities Hands-on session in a Level D full-flight simulator Discovery Flight circuit on a CTLS light aircraft under instructor supervision Certificate of Participation and, where applicable, a programme-based recommendation letter The Discovery Flight is limited to circuit operations only and does not include ground school, loggable flight hours, or pilot training. Fees All fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-cancellable, except where required by Hong Kong law. Punctuality Participants must arrive on time. Late arrival exceeding 10 minutes may be treated as a no-show, with no refund, credit, or rebooking. Programme Changes Aviation activities are subject to weather, operational, maintenance, airspace, ATC, border, and instructor availability. HKPAPA may modify, reschedule, substitute, or cancel any part of the experience at its discretion. Where feasible, an alternative arrangement may be offered as the participant’s sole remedy. HKPAPA is not responsible for travel, accommodation, visa, or related expenses. Participant Conduct & Safety Participants must comply with all lawful instructions. HKPAPA may refuse or terminate participation if safety or conduct standards are compromised. Any damage caused by negligence or non-compliance must be fully compensated by the participant. Assumption of Risk Participants acknowledge that aviation activities involve inherent risks, including serious injury or death, and voluntarily assume all such risks. Personal insurance is recommended. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, HKPAPA and its personnel shall not be liable for any loss, injury, delay, or damage arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence. Any permitted claim is limited to the amount paid for the experience. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR, with exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
