Cancellation Policy

By booking or attending the Discovery Flight, you agree to the following terms. This Discovery Flight includes one Ground School session and one 1-hour flight in Zhuhai. All fees are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable and non-cancellable, except where required by Hong Kong law. Punctuality Students must arrive on time for all sessions. A late arrival of more than 10 minutes may be treated as a no-show, and the session will be marked as completed with no refund, no credit and no rebooking. Rescheduling by HKPAPA Aviation activities may be affected by weather, operational issues, aircraft maintenance, ATC restrictions, airspace closures, border controls, or instructor availability. HKPAPA may change, postpone or reschedule any session at its sole discretion. HKPAPA will attempt to offer an alternative date; this will be the student’s sole remedy. HKPAPA is not liable for travel, hotel, visa, transport or other expenses. Rescheduling by Student Any request to reschedule must be made at least 72 hours in advance and is subject to availability. Requests made within 24 hours, or failure to attend, will be treated as a no-show. Safety and Compliance Students must follow all lawful instructions of the instructor. HKPAPA may refuse or terminate participation if safety is compromised. If the student causes damage to the aircraft, simulator, equipment or facilities due to non-compliance, negligence, misconduct or breach of instructions, the student agrees to pay all repair, replacement or related costs. Assumption of Risk Students understand that aviation activities involve inherent risks, including serious injury or death. By participating, the student voluntarily assumes all such risks and should obtain personal insurance if desired. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, HKPAPA, its directors, officers, employees, instructors, volunteers, agents and partners (“Protected Parties”) shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, expense or claim arising out of the Discovery Flight, except in cases of gross negligence. The student agrees not to bring any claim against any individual director, officer, employee or instructor. Any permitted claim may only be brought against HKPAPA as an entity, and in all cases HKPAPA’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Discovery Flight package. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR, with exclusive jurisdiction of HK Courts.
