Before you book

Do I really get to fly the aircraft?
Yes. This isn't a sightseeing flight where you sit and watch — you take the controls under the supervision of a certified instructor, after an hour of simulator preparation so you know what you're doing before you're airborne.
I have zero experience. Is that a problem?
Not at all — the programme is built for complete beginners. No experience is required and there's nothing to buy or bring.
How old do I need to be?
Recommended for 16 and over. Younger students may join subject to instructor approval — though for children we usually recommend the Simulator Programme (from age 4) or the Aerospace Ambassador Programme (from age 8) instead.
Where does it take place?
At the HKPAPA Aviation Training Center in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. Scheduling is flexible around your work or study.
Are there hidden costs?
No. Fuel, landing fees and insurance are all included in the HK$8,000. Photo and video during the flight is optional and available on request.
What if the weather is bad?
Flying is weather-dependent for safety reasons. If conditions don't allow the flight to go ahead safely, we'll reschedule with you — just message us and we'll find another date.
Can I do this as a gift for someone?
