Discovery Flight | Ground School (HKPC)

Cancellation Policy

By booking or attending this Ground School session, you agree to the following terms. Completion of this Ground School is mandatory before the Discovery Flight in Zhuhai. HKPAPA may refuse the flight session if this requirement is not met. No refund or credit will be given if the student fails to complete Ground School. Students must arrive at least 5 minutes early. A late arrival of more than 10 minutes may be treated as a no-show, and the session will be marked as completed with no refund, no credit and no rebooking. Any rescheduling request must be made at least 24 hours in advance and is subject to availability of instructors, rooms and simulators. Requests made within 24 hours, or failure to attend, will be treated as a no-show. All Discovery Flight fees, including Ground School, are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable and non-cancellable except where required by Hong Kong law. HKPAPA may change instructors, simulators, rooms, or schedules at any time for operational or safety reasons, including staff availability, equipment issues, venue changes or other unforeseen circumstances. HKPAPA will attempt to offer an alternative time, which will be the student’s sole remedy. HKPAPA is not liable for any travel, transport, accommodation or related expenses. Students must follow all safety instructions. HKPAPA may refuse participation if safety is at risk or if the student behaves in a disruptive manner. Students must ensure they are medically fit to participate. Students understand that aviation and simulator activities carry inherent risks, including discomfort, motion sensitivity, or technical malfunction. By participating, the student voluntarily assumes all related risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HKPAPA, its directors, officers, employees, instructors, volunteers, agents and partners (“Protected Parties”) shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, expense or claim arising from or connected with the Ground School session, except in cases of gross negligence. The student agrees not to bring any claim against any individual director, officer, employee or instructor. Any permitted claim may only be brought against HKPAPA as an entity, and in all cases HKPAPA’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the Discovery Flight package. These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR, with exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
