Cancellation Policy

By booking or attending any Flight Lesson (“Lesson”) you agree to the following terms. All flight training fees are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable and non-cancellable, except where required by Hong Kong law. HKPAPA may refuse or delay a Lesson if the student is unfit, unprepared, or fails to meet training requirements. No refund or compensation will be provided. Punctuality Students must arrive on time. A late arrival of more than 10 minutes or failure to attend may be treated as a no-show. No-show Lessons will be recorded as completed with no refund, no credit and no rebooking. Operational Disruptions Flight training is subject to weather, airspace restrictions, ATC decisions, NOTAMs, regulatory actions, border controls, aircraft maintenance, technical issues and instructor availability. HKPAPA may change, postpone or cancel any Lesson at its sole discretion for safety or operational reasons. An alternative time may be offered, which is the student’s sole remedy. HKPAPA is not liable for travel, hotel, visa, transport or related expenses. Safety and Conduct Students must follow all safety instructions from instructors and operators. HKPAPA may refuse or terminate a Lesson without refund if safety is compromised or if the student behaves in a disruptive or unsafe manner. Students must ensure they are medically fit to fly. If a student causes damage to an aircraft or equipment through negligence, misconduct or failure to follow instructions, the student agrees to pay all repair, replacement and associated costs. Assumption of Risk Flight training involves inherent risks, including turbulence, hard landings, aircraft malfunction, emergency procedures, motion sensitivity and, in rare cases, serious injury or death. By participating, the student voluntarily accepts all such risks and is advised to obtain personal insurance. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, HKPAPA and its directors, officers, employees, instructors, contractors, volunteers, agents and aviation partners (“Protected Parties”) shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage or expense arising from or connected with any Lesson, except in cases of proven gross negligence. Students agree not to bring claims against individual Protected Parties. Any permitted claim may only be brought against HKPAPA as an entity, and liability is limited to the total fee paid for the Lesson package. These terms are governed by Hong Kong law with exclusive jurisdiction
