First Solo | Ground School (HKPC)
Cancellation Policy
By booking or attending any First Solo Ground School or Flight Lesson (“Programme”), you agree to the following terms. Ground School must be completed before any Flight Lesson. HKPAPA may refuse or postpone flight training if this requirement is not met. No refund, credit or alternative compensation will be given. Students must arrive on time. A late arrival of more than 10 minutes or failure to attend may be treated as a no-show, and the session will be recorded as completed with no refund, no credit and no rebooking. Rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours in advance and is subject to availability of instructors, aircraft, rooms, simulators and operational conditions. Requests made within 48 hours, or non-attendance for any reason, will be treated as a no-show. All Programme fees are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable and non-cancellable under all circumstances, including illness, personal matters, travel issues, dissatisfaction, airspace restrictions, weather or operational disruption. Payment confirms acceptance of this condition. HKPAPA may change, postpone or cancel any instructor, aircraft, simulator, venue or session time at any point for safety, regulatory, weather or operational reasons. HKPAPA may offer an alternative time at its discretion, which is the student’s sole remedy. HKPAPA is not responsible for any consequential loss such as travel or accommodation costs. Students must follow all safety instructions. Participation may be refused or suspended without refund if the student behaves in a disruptive or unsafe manner or is medically unfit. Students are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate. Aviation training involves inherent risks, including turbulence, motion effects, equipment issues, delay and, in rare cases, serious injury or death. Participation is voluntary and at the student’s own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HKPAPA and its directors, officers, employees, instructors, contractors and partners shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage or expense arising from the Programme, except in cases of proven gross negligence. Any permitted claim may only be brought against HKPAPA as an entity, and liability shall not exceed the Programme fee. These terms are governed by Hong Kong law with exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
