Flying Together: HKPAPA Supports an Inclusive Aviation Experience

HKPAPA was pleased to provide full sponsorship and support for 共融伴您飛 — 衝上雲霄 成就夢想, jointly organised by the Leo Club of Hong Kong (Pacific) and the Leo Club of Jade Hong Kong. The event brought 25 participants together for hands-on flight simulation and an introduction to the world of pilots.

Making room for different learners

According to the organisers’ event recap, the participants included people with special educational needs, rare diseases and physical disabilities, as well as people from lower-income families. The shared focus was an opportunity to explore aviation and take part in a new learning experience.

Participants experienced the controls and cockpit environment through flight simulation. HKPAPA’s career sharing also introduced a pilot’s daily work and routes into the profession, connecting the practical experience with a broader view of aviation.

Learning together, with community support

At HKPAPA, we believe that curiosity deserves encouragement. Community activities like this create a space for people to encounter an unfamiliar subject, ask questions and discover what interests them. The value lies in participation and learning, without requiring every participant to share the same ambition.
