Most medical problems aren't medical.
They come from avoidable preparation mistakes — wrong document type at booking, a heavy meal the night before, hair gel on the day. Follow this and the medical is straightforward.

Do this before you book anything. Incorrect registration details may delay or invalidate your medical.

Verify carefully
Even small discrepancies cause problems later. Ask HKPAPA staff to check before you finalise.
Check prerequisites
You need a mainland China mobile number and a valid Home Return Permit (回鄉證).
- A mainland China mobile phone number is required — a Hong Kong number will not work.
- Your Home Return Permit (回鄉證) must be valid, not expired.
- We strongly recommend having HKPAPA staff verify your details before you submit. Taking a few minutes now saves significant trouble later.
Book your appointment
Booking is made directly through the designated hospital's official website.

Holding a driving licence can exempt you
If you hold a valid driving licence, you may be exempt from the Class II medical requirement for a Sport Pilot Licence. Converting a Hong Kong licence to a mainland one is often faster than sitting the medical.
